Minister for sports and education Janet Kataha Museveni has toured Nakivubo stadium and met the ROCCO contractors on the reconstruction since they had stopped six months back

Minister Museveni has refuted the allegations that the stadium was sold to foreigners and assured that the government’s plan about this stadium is big and they expect to make it modern for the beauty of Uganda.

She added that the stadium will resemble that of Dubai by the end of the construction according to the materials used and art they have applied on this stadium

Hamisi Kiggundu the businessman contracted this stadium has promised Ugandans that he is willing to build a standard stadium adding that Nakivubo work needs more than shs100 billion according to the materials they want to use while constructing this stadium.

“…I am ready to invest much as I can for this stadium to hit the International standard for my legacy, you will remember me.” Said businessman Hamis

Minister Charles Bakabulindi has urged Ugandans to avoid involving political matters in this stadium.

Ainea Ashaba engineer of ROCCO construction has confirmed that the first phase is done and they are proceeding with the work
