Musisi warns washing bay owners in City

KCCA director Jenifer Musisi Ssemakula was inspecting roads constriction.

Kampala capital city authority director Jenifer Musisi Ssemakula has on Wednesday warned all city washing bay owners along roads to find ways of displacing them before she takes action since they overpower water onto the tarmac roads and end up spoiling it into portholes.

Musisi says that this leads to wastage of taxpayers money

Musisi has also asked residents in areas where the authority is constructing roads to contribute for their street lights.

Speaking to journalists while inspecting the ongoing construction and completion of roads in Nakawa Division, Musisi said that residents should contribute some money for the authority to install for the street lights.

She says that the authority, at the moment, cannot do everything for them so they should contribute to improving security in their areas.

She says that whereas the construction of roads in all divisions of Kampala has been completed, construction of some few is still underway due to compensation issues.
