MPs Demand Procurement Process on ADB US$100 million loan.

Members of parliament have vowed not to rest until a clear procurement process where the government acquired US$100 million loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) which was passed by Parliament in 2015 to extend power to rural areas.

The matter was lifted by Kenneth Lubogo of Bulamogi County who says the failure to provide the procurement process has caused the ADB to consider cancelling the soft loan advanced to Government to implement the project.

Kenneth appealed to the speaker of the House to direct the Ministers for Finance and Energy to explain the status of this loan.
