Tear gas,bullets in city amidst police battling with Bobi Wine and colleagues.

Hon.Kyagulanyi was being was leading the mobile money Tax protesters on Wednesday

Bullets and tear gas covers the city as Kyaddondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu together with other activists were protesting against the hiked taxes on both social media and mobile money.

Two protesters  arrested by the police that blocked them from Kiyembe Nakasero in Kampala city on their match to Parliament where they wanted to present their protest to the speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. Rebeca Alitwala Kadaga

Police attempted to arrest Hon.Kyagulanyi , but his supporters successfully defended him and he arrived at parliament where he found the plenary seated already and presented his protest

Prime minister Ruhakana Rugunda also presented the president’s statement on encouraging the parliamentary mobile Money tax Review after public pressure.

Market vendors and motorcycle taxi drivers faced off against police in anti-riot gear, with some lobbing stones at the officers.
“Teargas was fired and some live ammunition was fired into the air to disperse the crowd,” said police spokesman Luke Owoyesigire, adding two protesters had been arrested.
