Events promoter Balaam Barugahare has been stunned by “unrealistic” requests that are being rooted for by the artistes, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleon, as he prepares their music battle come this May, Nelor has learnt.
This came shortly after Chameleon challenged Bebe cool into a live music showdown that will lead to his death and his disciples.
Speaking to Public, Barugahare disclosed that one of the musicians involved in the battle asked for money that he has never even harvested in any of his shows.
“He asked for 400 million shillings. You see Shamim … I have never earned such kind of money from any of the shows I have hosted. This is unrealistic amount of money,” he said.
He also added that this was a sign of cowardice from the singer because he knows it come to reality.
“That shows his scared; his looking for means of pulling out but the battle has to go on. We need to clear out who really is a legend in this industry,” he added.
Although he refused to disclose the name of the artist in mention, he was clear to name his replacement if the negotiations don’t go well.
The show will be held at Namboole and only time will cut us short. If he refuses we shall replace him with Bobi Wine.
